PCGS Population Report

The PCGS population report for this coin is provided as two numbers. The first number is the total number of this particular coin to receive this exact grade by PCGS, including any appended designation such as "RD", "RB", "BN", "FB", "CAM" or "DC". The second number is the total number of this particular coin to receive a higher grade by PCGS, including the same designation.

Thus a population report of 125/10 would mean that this coin is one of 125 so graded, with 10 graded higher; and a population report of 2/0 would mean that only 2 were so graded, with none graded higher (top-pop)!

The population report is provided as a courtesy to bidders to evaluate the scarcity of the coin at this grade in a PCGS holder. Other coins at this grade probably exist in holders of other grading services, such as NGC, ANACS or ICG. Coins from these other services are not included in this report; nor are raw coins. Also, statistics for the population report are gathered by me from the PCGS website prior to the start of the auction. These statistics may change should additional coins at this grade (or higher) be graded and tabulated by PCGS. While the number of coins themselves that are in existence will not increase, the number available in PCGS holders may change.
